PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. – SmartBank, organized by veteran Sevier County bankers Bill Carroll and Billy Carroll, today, announced the grand opening of its Sevierville branch location just five months after the opening of its first branch location in Pigeon Forge.

Operating in one of East Tennessee’s most competitive markets, SmartBank was created to set new standards in banking by providing the Sevier County market with innovative business practices and a unique banking environment.

“We have a very simple vision for SmartBank. We want to build exceptional value for our clients, communities, associates and shareholders. We are doing that by offering the smart services of a larger bank, but with the friendliness, convenience and reliance of banking locally,” said Billy Carroll, President and Chief Executive Officer. “Our first five months in business has produced wide-spread acceptance among the people of Sevier County and exceptional growth with assets already exceeding $75 million.”

Since its inception, SmartBank has differentiated itself. Each of its branches features a warm and unique design using the area’s finest hardwood and stone to create a comfortable and casual banking environment. Customer friendly features of the bank include a SmartKids playroom, healthy refreshments including bottled water and fruit, free internet access at each branch, cross-trained associates, and competitive, quality products and services.

Each SmartBank location offers extended hours from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, with the drive-thru opening at 7:30am, as well as Saturday morning banking from 8 a.m. to noon at each branch.
