GATLINBURG, TN (June 16th) – Billy Carroll, President and CEO of SmartBank, today announced the opening of the Bank’s Gatlinburg office, its third in 18 months. ”The Bank’s growth in our first year of operation has been faster than we expected and we contribute that to an outstanding team of associates and a culture that emphasizes putting clients first,” stated Carroll. “I am also pleased to announce our hours in Gatlinburg will be 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday and Saturday from 8am to noon, the same as all other SmartBank locations.”
SmartBank’s Gatlinburg office is located at 570 East Parkway, the former location of the Gatlinburg Cinema. Carroll stated, “Being one of Gatlinburg’s first “Green” businesses is something I am also very proud of. Creating an environmentally friendly bank is a goal of our organization.” The Gatlinburg Goes Green program recognizes Chamber businesses that have made a commitment to improving their operation to reduce environmental impact. SmartBank is the Chambers’ first Gold level participant.
SmartBank opened its first office on January 8, 2007 at 2430 Teaster Lane in Pigeon Forge, and opened a second office located at 1011 Parkway, Sevierville.
