PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. – November 22, 2013 – SmartBank recently announced promotions and title changes.
Lindsay S. Bennett has been named Assistant Vice President and Enterprise Risk Management / Compliance Officer. Lindsay began her career with SmartBank in January 2009. She graduated from the University of Tennessee where she earned a Master of Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship & Innovation, a Master of Science in Human Resource Development and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Lindsay has also earned certification as a Community Bank Compliance Officer from ICBA. She serves the community as an active Advisory Board member for Random Acts of Flowers.
Phil Carney has been named Assistant Vice President and Consumer/Small Business Lender. Phil joined SmartBank in February 2010. He is a graduate of Southeastern School of Commercial Lending and a graduate of Southeastern School of Consumer Lending. Phil holds a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Business Administration from East Tennessee State University. He is an active member of Mountain Star Lodge #197.
Sandra Solomon has been named Assistant Vice President, Loan Processing Manager and CRA Officer. Sandra has been with SmartBank since October 2006. She has 24 years combined experience in banking and network administration. As CRA Officer, Sandra is involved with organizations within in the community such as Rebuilding Together Knoxville and Live-It Ministries.
Alysyn Williams has been named Vice President and Director of Operations. Alysyn joined SmartBank in August 2006 as Branch Operations Coordinator. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Tusculum College and is a 2008 graduate of Leadership Tomorrow. Alysyn is currently enrolled in the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. She also has served as a mentor for TN Achieves for the last two years.
