Morristown, Tenn. – SmartBank has announced its expansion into the Hamblen County, Tenn. market with the opening of its Loan Production Office located at 525 West Morris Boulevard, Suite A in Morristown, Tenn. SmartBank is also proud to announce the additions of Anthony Price and Carlos Wolfe to its team in Morristown. Price will lead the bank’s efforts in Morristown as Senior Vice President, Market Executive and Wolfe will serve as a First Vice President, Relationship Manager.

Price joins SmartBank after serving as Senior Vice President, Chief Credit Officer for Citizens Bank in Morristown. In this role he was responsible for credit administration of the bank and management of all portfolio underwriting, processing and servicing. He has more than 26 years of lending and management experience in East Tennessee, spending more than 20 of those years in Greene and Hamblen Counties.
He is very active in the community, currently sitting on several boards and committees, including the Kiwanis Club of Morristown, Crossroads Downtown Partnership and the Morristown Retail Development Committee. Price recently served as Major Firms chair for the United Way of Hamblen County in 2017. He is also an active member of First Baptist Church in Morristown, serving as a Sunday School Teacher and Deacon.
Wolfe has been a long-time banker in Morristown, where he began his career in 1978 with Hamilton Bank as a consumer lender. He then helped lead the introduction of Citizens Bank of New Tazewell to the Morristown area as he served as Vice President. Prior to joining SmartBank, Wolfe was the Senior Vice President and Branch Manager of HomeTrust Bank’s Morristown branch. In this role he was responsible for the day-to day-operations of the branch and providing various financial services and loan products to the bank’s commercial customers.
Like Price, Wolfe is engaged with a number of community organizations, including United Way and the Senior Citizens Home Assistance Service in Morristown. He currently serves on the United Way’s Budget and Allocations Committee and is a Senior Citizens Home Assistance board member. He has also been actively involved with the Boy Scouts, Junior Achievement and the Morristown AYSO. He is also an active member of Thankful Baptist Church, serving as a Sunday School Teacher and Deacon.
