With nearly 25 years of experience in the financial industry, Spring’s journey at SmartBank began in 2015 as the Mortgage Underwriting Manager. Prior to joining SmartBank, Spring held positions as Senior Mortgage Underwriter, Head of Mortgage Operations, and Branch Operations Manager.
Spring holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Wilkes University and has an impressive professional profile. She is an esteemed member of the ABA Mortgage Market Committee and has collaborated with the Florida Housing Finance Corporation as a Florida bond lender since 2004. Spring’s expertise includes being an FHA Direct Endorsement underwriter, a VA SAR (staff appraiser reviewer), and a VA-approved underwriter since 2000. Additionally, she is a USDA Rural Housing, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac underwriter.
