Brad Place serves as Chief Technology Officer at SmartBank. He has over 25 years of experience in rapidly growing and dynamic environments. Brad is responsible for leading SmartBank’s technology strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring we remain at the forefront of technological advancements in the financial industry. Prior to joining SmartBank, he served as the Chief Information Officer at LBMC, the largest Accounting and Business Consulting firm located in Tennessee. During his tenure at LBMC, he led the technology support, operations, and security teams and provided strategic input on innovation and digital transformation initiatives for all businesses operating under the LBMC brand. Brad graduated from Austin Peay State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the Jack C. Massey Graduate School of Business at Belmont University.
