Mike Honeycutt serves as a Division President for SmartBank, where he oversees all Tennessee markets. Bringing extensive market expertise, he specializes in commercial lending, treasury management solutions, and delivering high-level executive support. Since joining SmartBank in 2014 as a corporate commercial lending officer, Mike has held several leadership roles, including Knoxville Area Market Executive, Director of Treasury Management, and Regional President. Prior to SmartBank, Mike served as Market President for BB&T, managing the commercial banking teams across the Tennessee markets of Blount, Loudon, Sevier, and Jefferson Counties. He graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, concentrating in Finance.  He is also a Distinguished Graduate of the Banking School at Wake Forest. Mike is a graduate of the 2020 Class of Leadership Knoxville, and is heavily involved with the United Way of Blount County where he has held various leadership roles; most recently, he served as Board Chair in 2019.
